Hi! My name is Sharon! I'm a musician, teacher and homemaker all rolled into one!

This blog is where I compile Filipino composers' biographies, kundiman music sheets for your personal use, facts and information about kundimans, songs and lyrics with translations, and some of my learning experiences when I was a student at the College of Music, University of the Philippines.

      Hi Paul!

      Regarding the whereabouts/contact information of the late composer,
      Rodolfo Cornejo's relatives/immediate family, I think the best way is
      to contact the College of Music, University of the Philippines (UP).

    I love your site. I'm looking to buy Kundiman sheet music for soprano/mezzo soprano voice. It's difficult to find inn the U.S. Thanks for your help. :)

      Dear Leslie, sorry for this late response. Your comment was in my spam folder which I read only today...It is indeed difficult to find Kundiman sheet music. Glad this site helped in some way.     Another comment- since there is a similar one above --know the whereabouts of the heirs. survivors, of Mike Velarde? I tried the Society of Phil. Composers. The tel # they gave me is an expired one. I am Calif-based. My thanks in advance.

    hi maam! I am forever hunting for our own kundiman and other Filipino piano solo to be available online. It is hard so I'm grateful that I encountered your site. I only studied piano up until highschool and pursued another career but I vowed to play again once I get more "freedom", which I have right now =))

    Do you have other piano pieces to share po? I would be grateful for those. (I remember "Kumintang", r you familiar with it?)

    p.s. I also named my other site http://kundiman.wordpress.com, with same purpose in mind - to share our wonderful music and arts (and language!) But sooonn, I will revamp it =)
